Moorland Park - Community Design Workshop 1
Project introduction, Site Analysis and Park Programming

Park site: 3390 Moorland Ave., at the northwest corner of West Robles and Moorland avenues
A series of community workshops is scheduled for late summer and fall of 2015. Each session will be entirely bilingual and will focus on a particular design phase to maximize community involvement in decisions that define the park. The planning process will be clearly outlined and important factors, such as budget and site constraints, described. Whenever possible, workshop participants will work from a blank page, instead of preconceived proposals, so the group can hear all ideas, insights and concerns.

Sonoma County Regional Parks and community partners are hosting a public workshop to help develop a vision for updating the Master Plan for the park. The workshop is the first step in the process toward modernizing the park and developing new amenities, facilities and programs based on the
current and future needs of the community. Please join us and participate in the discussion and share your ideas for the future of the park.
