Maddux Ranch Regional Park Community Planning Update

Location: Maddux Ranch Regional Park, 4655 Lavell Road, Santa Rosa
Sonoma County Regional Parks and the Occidental Arts and Ecology Center are holding a neighborhood and stakeholder meeting to discuss ideas for a Community Garden at Maddux Ranch Regional Park. We will provide general information and current plans for the garden, and solicit comments and ideas from the public.

Proposed Estero Trail Public Meeting
A workshop was held May 8 to discuss the planning process for the Proposed Estero Trail. Meeting participants shared ideas and provided feedback on potential future uses. The powerpoint presentation, meeting agenda and meeting summary are posted at the webpage listed below.
The project is in the beginning stages of the process and Sonoma County Regional Parks would like to hear from you on this exciting opportunity for public access to the Estero Americano.

Occidental Community Center Advisory Council Survey & Meetings
The purpose of the Occidental Community Center Advisory Council (OCCAC) is to represent the community for discussions with Sonoma County Regional Parks about the future of the Occidental Community Center building and site.

In order to fully understand our community’s needs and expectations, and be able to compile valid information to present to the community at-large at a future public meeting, we ask that you participate in this survey—which is just a starting point. Please provide written comments as well. We greatly appreciate your input; please feel free to have your children and other family members complete their own survey.
