The Bodega Bay community hosts its 45th Annual Fisherman's Festival, a weekend packed with events for people of all ages, at Westside Regional Park. Enjoy craft booths, live music, food, entertainment and more. Wine tasting will feature more than 25 Sonoma County wines. Food booths will have something for every palate - barbequed oysters, local fish 'n chips, clam chowder and more. Live music and entertainers perform on the main stage all day Saturday and Sunday. Artisans and vendors from all over California and beyond offer a wide selection of arts and crafts. Saturday and Sunday will feature a wooden boat challenge where participating teams build a vessel and then compete in a boat race. Sunday morning will feature the blessing of the fishing fleet when decorated boats parade out of the harbor to receive a blessing from local clergy. The festival originated as a celebration of the start of salmon season and is organized by community volunteers. Adults $12 during pre-sale; $14 at the gate. Seniors $12 pre-sale and at the gate.
