Journey a mile into a pristine wooded canyon to the local Stockhoff Creek. Discover the life cycle of salmon and steelhead trout, what kind of environment is needed for them to thrive, and try to spot some young fish swimming in the clear pools. Then, hike to the restored, historic Fort Ross School located on Regional Parks grounds. This outing is for all ages. Meet in the Day Use Area at the trailhead entrance. Free.
