Junior Ranger Program

Calling all nature-loving kids! Check out this interactive program where children ages 7-13 can grow their outdoor skills and learn about nature and the stewardship of our planet. Earn a badge after completing the program series. Bring a snack, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and wear comfortable shoes. Scout troops welcome!

For participants to earn their official Regional Parks' Junior Ranger badge and certification, children must complete the Junior Ranger Passport, which consists of earning two patches and attending two service days. The skill-building and natural exploration patches are earned by attending two of Junior Ranger programs that fall under that classification.
