Deepen your connection to the natural world through writing and sketching. Explore, observe, and identify the inspiring flora and fauna of our Regional Parks. Each session includes instruction on artistic techniques. Please bring your own journal; some art supplies provided. All ages and artistic abilities welcome. April 5 - CANCELLED - Crane Creek Regional Park
Wildflower Studies - Revel in the seasonal beauty of wildflowers. Practice identifying the flowers and observe the symmetry and patterns of nature through sketching. This program will include a half-mile hike. Parking $7 or free for Regional Parks members.
May 3 - Pinnacle Gulch Coastal Access Trail
Tide Pool Studies - Explore life on a rocky shore at low tide. Practice drawing the resident echinoderms or the scenic beauty of the coast itself. This program includes a 1-mile hike to get to the tide pools and back. Feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy beachside after the program.
