Celebrate the winged wonders that makes the Russian River their migratory stopover, the Vaux’s swifts. These birds come annually to a Healdsburg location in the thousands each year, and provide a spectacular twilight show as the return to their roosting site for rest. We will begin this festive occasion with an overview and then caravan to the site. Please bring a lawn chair, binoculars, and layered clothing for the chilly riverside evening. Free. Parking $7 or free for Regional Parks members. For more information, call (707) 539-2865.
