Join us each month:
December 1 is Geology Rocks! Discover the amazing power rocks hold through volcanic activity and their ever changing composition. From igneous and sedimentary to metaphoric, see how each version of a rock feels different
compared to the other. Build your own little volcano and paint your own rock just in time for the holiday season
January 5 is snow much fun! Join us as we experiment with different mixtures and materials to make snowballs, mini snowmen, and a piece of art using snow paint. Participants will have the chance to play with two different kinds of homemade “snow”.
February 2 is For the Birds! Did you know that during wintertime a bird’s diet is made up of mostly seeds? Learn about the local birds that share our backyards during the winter season, including both migratory birds and those that visit us all year long. Make a birdfeeder to take home and see which birds show up for a visit. Materials and birdseed provided.
