Join us at Whale Watch Point to view migrating and local seabirds with Doug Forsell, retired US Fish and Wildlife Service seabird biologist, and participate in the iNaturalist San Francisco Bay Area City Nature Challenge. Even though the focus will be on seabirds, if you keep your eyes peeled you may see whales or other ocean marine mammals!

Come any time during the three-hour window. Your adventure begins at the Gualala Visitors Center with a half-mile walk to Whale Watch Point. Bring binoculars and field guides if you have them, and binoculars and scopes will be available. Dress is layers for windy conditions. Rain cancels. This free event is co-sponsored by the Coastal Stewardship Task Force on The Sea Ranch. Parking $7 or free for Regional Parks members.
