Cloverdale River Park Trail

Cloverdale River Park features a paved trail along the banks of the Russian River. The trail is open to pedestrians, bikers and equestrians and starts at the McCray Road parking area and runs for about 1 mile to a connection with a city trail at First Street. A few trail spurs along the way provide access to the river's edge.

The most prominent plant community along the trail is the cottonwood tree, though you'll also notice California walnut, maple, buckeye and willow. Large coast and valley oaks are located near the trailhead in the parking area.

Great care has been taken to restore plan, animal and fish habitat at this park by removing invasive species and planting native plants.
