Volunteer on Earth Day at Riverfront - April 22, 2017

When: Saturday, April 22, 2017 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Where: Riverfront Regional Park

 Earth in Palms

Located along the Russian River, Riverfront Regional Park is home to a beautiful redwood grove. Due to a number of factors, the long term health of the grove is threatened. Volunteers will spread mulch throughout the grove to prevent soil compaction. This project is part of an overall effort to preserve the grove for future generations. Regional Parks provides tools, gloves, drinks and snacks at all volunteer workdays. Volunteers between the ages of 14 and 17 need a PDF fileparental permission slip. Volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Free parking for volunteers.
