Spring Lake Regional Park
Regional Parks is honored to continue the tradition of Bill and Dave Hikes after Bill and Dave retire in May 2020. For this first post-retirement hike, join Regional Parks staff for a 7.7-mile outing from Spring Lake Regional Park into adjacent Trione-Annadel State Park. In Annadel, we’ll take the Canyon Trail, Lake Ilsanjo, and Cobblestone Bypass Loop - a moderately trafficked loop that is a favorite of hikers, runners, and mountain bikers. Though there are some steep pitches here and there, with a total elevation gain of about 870 feet, much of the terrain consists of gently rolling slopes of moderate difficulty. Plan to arrive by 9:45 a.m. for a prompt 10 a.m. departure. Enter Spring Lake at the Violetti Road entrance and meet at the Otter Cafe (concession stand) next to the swimming lagoon. Bring plenty of water, lunch and cheer. This event is free. Parking is $7 or free for Regional Parks members. We hike rain or shine.
