Junior Ranger Program

Check out this wonderful interactive program where youth ages 7-13 can grow their outdoor skills, learn about nature, and stewardship of our planet. Earn a badge after completion of the program series. Bring a snack, sunscreen, weather appropriate clothing, and wear comfortable footwear. Scout troops welcome!

For participants to earn their official Sonoma County Regional Parks Junior Ranger badge and certification, youth must complete the Junior Ranger Passport by earning two patches and attending two service day events. The outdoor skills or natural exploration patches are earned by attending two programs that fall under those classifications.
