Wildfire Anniversary Event: Community Healing Together

As we approach the one-year anniversary of the wildfires, we invite you to surround yourself with artistic expression focused on community well-being and connections. This all-ages event will feature art activities, musical performances, guided hikes, and food. Free. Reflect on the past year while witnessing the recovering landscape of Shiloh Ranch Regional Park.

Activities include:

11-11:30 a.m. - Opening ceremony under the oaks

11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Family art activities, face painting and crafts, phoenix mural 

11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.  - Gratitude mural  

11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Food truck 

11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Music under the oaks 

11:30 a.m. - noon - Dancers/drummers

11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Drop-in crisis counselors available

11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - “Laughter as Medicine” workshop for families

Noon to 1 p.m. - Fire ecology hike

12:15 - 1:15 p.m. - Nature photography walk  

12:30 - 1:15 p.m. - “Super Power Kids” workshop

1 - 2 p.m. - Meditation walk 

1:45-2 p.m. - Closing circle under the oaks, poetry reading, and the Elsie Allen High School drumline

Partners include the California HOPE Project, Child Parent Institute, Community Soils, Raizes Collective, Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation, Sonoma County Regional Parks, and Windsor Parks and Recreation.
