Designed for new birders and beginners, these workshops will help you develop your bird-watching skills while learning more about our feathered friends and their world. Join for one workshop, or both! All ages welcome and we will have binoculars for you to borrow. Registration is required for this free event. Parking is $7 or free for Regional Parks members.

Identification Tips and Tools: Plumage, field marks, songs and calls ... there are lots of different ways to figure out who's who. We’ll get back to basics, practice and discover some useful tools (that aren't books!) for when you're stuck.

Bird Behavior: Flittering, fluttering, singing and hopping ... Birds are rarely still and by simply observing there's plenty we can learn about them. We will take our time, listen and look for birds, and discover what they might be communicating with their various behaviors.

Connected to Doran Regional Park by a bridge, this trail circles two ponds and offers coastal views along with excellent birding.
