Foothill Regional Park in east Windsor is a 211-acre wilderness park in the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains. The park features thick oak woodlands, rolling hillsides, ridge-top views of northern Sonoma County, three ponds for bass and bluegill fishing, grassy meadows, and spring wildflowers.

Trails

Nearly 7 miles of multi-use trails cover varied terrain, offering easy to challenging options for hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. 

Accessibility

Three Lakes Trail is a gravel, wheelchair-accessible trail with a gated parking and picnic area. Gate cards are available at Regional Parks' Santa Rosa office. Call (707) 565-2041 for more information.

    In 2019, the Kinkade fire burned through 95% of Foothill Regional Park. Firefighters were able to stop the fire from entering Windsor by cutting firebreaks through the park. Volunteers will work on park trails, cutting and removing debris and spreading gravel.
