The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors established the County of Sonoma Marina Advisory Committee to advise the Board of Supervisors and the Director of Regional Parks on matters related to marina management, rates, capital planning, safety, and long-term sustainability across Spud Point Marina, Mason’s Marina and the Sport Fishing Center.
Marina Advisory Committee duties include the review of berthing rates and other fees and making recommendations to the Board of Supervisors; recommendations for revenue-producing ventures; recommendations for navigational aids; advising on safety items or conditions that may be needed and advising on fishing industry trends that could impact the marina.
