Laguna de Santa Rosa Trail - Phase I

Laguna de Santa Rosa trail

Kelly Farm Trailhead

What & Why?

Two and a half miles of trail was constructed at the Laguna de Santa Rosa, the largest freshwater wetland complex in Sonoma County. This first phase of the Trail opened to the public on November 16, 2012 allowing hikers and bicyclists the opportunity to appreciate the Laguna’s diverse ecological and scenic resources.

What's Next?

The Regional Parks staff will apply for grant funds to construct trail segments located on the City of Santa Rosa-owned properties: Alpha Farm, Brown Farm, Stone Farm and County-owned property (formerly known as the Balletto Property).

Repairs to cracking and chipping on the multi-use trail between Occidental Road and Highway 12 will be an ongoing maintenance project. Bicyclists are asked to please walk their bikes along the trail.
