You’ve seen all the survivalist’s shows and now it’s time to put that knowledge to the test — well after working on those skills. Each program will focus on a different topic and will take place in various parks. We will cover topics such as: shelter building, knot tying, outdoor cooking and more. Thematic games and crafts will add to the fun for teenagers ages 13-17. The cost is $15 for Sonoma County residents and $17 for out-of-county attendees. For more information, contact Alexis Puerto Holmes at email@example.com. Registration is required.
What do you do if you don’t have a tent and it’s getting cold fast? Find out after this program where we learn how to build various outdoor shelters.
Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be cancelled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking is $7 or free with a Regional Parks membership.
