Plan to arrive before 10 a.m. or after 3 p.m. for the best chance of finding parking on peak days. (Entrance conditions will be posted on Highway 1 at Doran Road.)

Doran Regional Park has a wide, 2-mile stretch of beach on Bodega Bay and is ideal for walking, picnicking, playing in the sand, flying kites, surfing, and bird-watching.
More than 120 tent and RV campsites are available year-round.
A boat launch provides Bodega Harbor access for sport fishing, kayaking, stand-up paddling, and kite surfing. A jetty at the harbor mouth is a popular spot for rock fishing and exploring sea life.
Doran Beach Trails
Length:2 and 1.3 miles
A walk along the shoreline at Doran Regional Park is approximately 2 miles one way from the rock jetty at the west end to the rock formations near Pinnacle Gulch on the east end.
A 1.3-mile trail meanders through grassy dunes above the beach and connects to an ADA-accessible boardwalk with benches and viewing areas.
Dogs on leash are welcome throughout the park. Horses are allowed on a 1-mile stretch of beach east of the second parking lot.

Doran & Westside Park Campers,
CAREFULLY: the full opening of the Westside boat launch ramp will be delayed,
however, it will be OPEN on Saturday November 5th & Sunday, November
6th for the opening weekend of the recreational crab season.
remainder of November, the Westside launch ramp will be closed Mondays through
Thursdays for construction (except Thanksgiving Day – November 24th)
. The Doran Park launch ramp will remain OPEN daily with
approximately 60 boat trailer parking spaces available. If you would like to move
your reservation to another date, please contact camping reservations
(707-565-CAMP) to make these arrangements. We apologize for this
inconvenience. For additional and updated information please go to
Doran Regional Park features more than 120 year-round campsites for tents, trailers and RVs. Campground restrooms feature electrical outlets, flush toilets and coin-operated showers ($1.50 for 5 minutes.) RV hook-ups are not available.
Reservations can be made up to a year in advance and are strongly recommended for summer, holidays, and the start of crab fishing. Regional Parks' members get one free night of camping each year.
