Accessibility Assistance

You belong in the parks! Sonoma County Regional Parks is committed to the goal of providing access to all visitors, regardless of their abilities. While we are aware we will not be able to meet every person's needs in every park and program, we strive to provide accessible experiences so all visitors can enjoy the parks. Below are some of the accessibility resources available to visitors and contact details for additional information. We welcome your questions, comments and feedback on what is working well or how we can make things better.

Accessible trails, parking, restrooms, and other park features

You can find parks with accessible features such as trails, restrooms and picnic areas by using the “Show Parks with Accessible Areas” filter on the Find a Park webpage. The filter will display all parks with accessible amenities. You can then visit the displayed webpages to learn more about the amenities in those parks. We are working to expand the accessibility descriptions on the park pages.

Campsites

ADA campsites are available for reservation at Doran, Spring Lake, Stillwater Cove and Westside parks. For availability, visit our campground reservations webpage and view individual campgrounds. To reserve an ADA site or learn more, call Regional Parks’ reservations office at (707) 565-2267 between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday.

All-terrain wheelchairs

All-terrain wheelchairs for beaches or unpaved trails are available for free use at Doran, Spring LakeGualala Point and Healdsburg Veterans Memorial Beach and at some special events. Use is generally available on a first-come, first-served basis with some ability to arrange use in advance. To inquire about availability at a park or event, please refer to the “Accessibility” section on that park’s webpage or use the contact information below.
