This property was purchased by the Sonoma County
Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District. The park offers multi-use
facilities with softball and soccer fields and was constructed by matching
grant funds from the Open Space District, and park mitigation fees.
Join Sonoma County Regional Parks for a
Planning Update for Schopflin Fields
Regional Parks is holding a
neighborhood meeting to discuss ideas and processes for the completion of the
improvements at Schopflin
Fields. We will provide general information and current plans for the park,
and solicit comments and ideas from the public. Schopflin Fields Proposed Plan (729 kB)
meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at Mark
West Elementary School Gym located at 4600 Lavell Road in Santa
Rosa. If you would like to attend the meeting and need an
accommodation, such as a sign language interpreter or Spanish translation,
please contact Regional Parks at least 48 hours in advance.
