Crab Season Delayed:
The California Fish and Game
Commission has delayed the recreational fishing season for Dungeness crab.
Officials will lift the closure when naturally occurring domoic acid levels in
the crustaceans no longer pose a risk to public health. For more information,

The park opens at 7:00 a.m. and closes at sunset.
$7 per vehicle for day use.
Permitted on leash no longer than 6' in length. License required.

Sonoma County Regional Parks has received a $1.8 million dollar grant from the California Department of Parks & Recreation Division of Boating & Waterways to make improvements to the Westside Regional Park Boat Launch facility to improve public access and use. For project details
The park is ideal for
fishing, with its boat ramp, boat-rinsing station and fish-cleaning
station. A large vehicle and boat parking lot is located adjacent to the
launch. Picnic tables and restrooms are on-site. The park is near stores and
tackle shops. Marine fuel may be purchased at Spud Point Marina
. Visit the
marina or go for a short drive to Bodega Head, part of Sonoma Coast
Coastal campgrounds with ocean access

Westside Regional Park offers individual
campsites, potable water, restrooms with electrical outlets, flush toilets
and coin-operated showers. Please note: there are no RV hook-ups. There
is an RV dump station.
