Master Plan Update
Four workshops as well as an online survey were held to date to gather feedback on the issues and help determine the priorities for improving the park. The third workshop provided a venue for Regional Parks to present three conceptual alternative directions for review and evaluation. Community feedback on the conceptual alternatives was used to develop the preferred direction as presented in the draft Master Plan at the fourth workshop in July 2017. Feedback from the meetings were incorporated into the final Master Plan.
The Board of Supervisors approved the Master Plan update in February 2019, and adopted the Environmental documents. Sonoma County Regional Parks is moving forward with the design and engineering plans for the Phase 1 Renovation and Improvement project.

The workshop is the first step in the process toward modernizing the park and developing new amenities, facilities and programs based on the current and future needs of the community. |
