Fall Activities Guide Features Dozens of Hikes, Outings and Events

Paddleboard Yoga, Bird Walks, Autumn Hikes Among New Offerings

Santa Rosa,CA | September 01, 2017

Regional Parks’ fall activities guide is now available and features dozens of new hikes, family outings and special events. The guide brings together information for dozens of activities planned in September, October and November, many of them offered for the first time and many of them free.

English- and Spanish-language versions of the guidebook are available for viewing and free downloading on the Play page, and a limited number of printed copies are available at Regional Parks’ Santa Rosa office at 2300 County Center Drive.

New activities include paddle-boarding classes, paddle board yoga, fishing lessons, a bat-viewing walk, raptor-viewing hikes, a crabbing clinic, a fall foliage hiking series, history walks, and a variety of outings designed for families with young children.

Special events include the Spring Lake dog swims, the Tolay Fall Festival, bilingual outings, California Coastal Cleanup Day, shuttle service between Jack London and North Sonoma Mountain or Hood Mountain and Sugarloaf Ridge.

As Regional Parks celebrates its 50th anniversary throughout 2017, many of its activities incorporate a 50th theme.
