Parks Celebration Brings Free Events to Sonoma County Parks & Open Spaces
Parks and open space groups host outings throughout Sonoma County
Santa Rosa,CA | April 16, 2015
A full moon hike on Sonoma Mountain. Camping in the hills of Helen Putnam Park. Stand-up paddling on the Russian River. Regional Parks and its partners are celebrating the spring beauty of Sonoma County's parks and open spaces by hosting these and dozens of other free adventures from Earth Day, April 22,2015 through Memorial Day, May 25, 2015.
This annual "Parks Celebration" is an invitation to rediscover favorite parks and explore new lands. Rangers and naturalists are leading kayak tours, wilderness training, specialty hikes, bird walks, wildflower walks, bike rides and other outings at regional parks like Riverfront and Doran, state parks like Annadel and Sugarloaf, and open spaces like the Jenner Headlands and Pole Mountain.
Parks Celebration kicks off with the following events, with a full list of activities available at sonomacountyparks.org.

Parks Celebration 2015 is organized by Regional Parksand the Regional Parks Foundation.
