Water Park Extends Hours and Giant Water Slide Returns to Healdsburg Beach
August 24, 2016
The Water Park at Spring Lake will stay open for an extra
weekend of late-summer fun in September. Regularly scheduled to close after
Labor Day, the Water Park will be open from 11 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Sept. 10 and
Sept. 11, and admission will be $10 for children, including teens, and $15 for
adults. A four-person admission pack will be $40 for participants of any age.
(Children must be 6 or older to play on the Water Park.) The Water Park is an inflatable playground on the swimming
lagoon at Spring Lake Regional Park, 393 Violetti Road, Santa Rosa. Parking is
$7 or free for Regional Parks members.
On Labor Day weekend, Sept. 3-5, Healdsburg Veterans Memorial Beach again will host the “Zoom Flume,” an inflatable water slide introduced at the
Healdsburg Water Carnival in August. The Zoom Flume is like a giant Slip ‘N
Slide that lets riders whoosh down the steep, sandy beach into the Russian
River, where they then can play on a smaller, floating water slide. Hours are
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the cost to ride is $5 per person. (Children must be 6 or
older.) Healdsburg Veterans Memorial Beach is at 13839 Old Redwood Highway.
Parking is $7 or free for Regional Parks members.
