Volunteer

More than 1,000 volunteers donate their time, energy and expertise to Sonoma County Regional Parks each year. Volunteers build trails, maintain campgrounds, staff special events, mend fences, lead hikes, clear brush, and help with much more.

We strive to match skills and interests to volunteer positions that help us:

  • Enhance the quality of life in Sonoma County
  • Provide recreational, social and cultural opportunities to the public
  • Preserve, conserve and restore our natural, scenic and historical resources

We invite you to discover your parks by volunteering

Volunteer one day or the entire weekend, May 18-20, with Regional Parks staff and Volunteers for Outdoor California. The project will involve rerouting approximately.3 miles of the Nattkemper Trail at Hood Mountain.
