General Info
More than
1,000 volunteers donate their time, energy and expertise to Sonoma County
Regional Parks each year. Volunteers build trails, lead interpretative hikes,
maintain campgrounds, patrol park trails, build fences and much more. Groups
from the Boy Scouts, local businesses and schools also spend thousands of
hours maintaining our parks. We invite you to discover the parks through our
volunteer program. We strive to match your skills and interests to a volunteer
position that helps us:
- Enhance the quality of life in Sonoma
County
- Provide recreational, social and cultural opportunities to the
public
- Preserve, conserve and restore our natural, scenic and
historical resources
We appreciate your interest in Sonoma County
Regional Parks and look forward to finding a volunteer opportunity for
you.
Benefits of Volunteering
Many volunteers say they receive
much more than they give. In helping the parks, they unexpectedly help
themselves. They learn new skills, share talents and knowledge, gain
experience, make new friends and help make the community a better place.
Volunteer
Opportunities
We have volunteer opportunities for everyone. Working
alongside park staff, you can assist in a variety of tasks at many parks.
Campground Host Opportunities
