Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission

Board of Supervisors resolution 90-0534, adopted March 27, 1990, formed a five-member Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission. Resolution 16-0263 replaced 90-0534 on July 12, 2016. The commission acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors by promoting, aiding and encouraging public recreation, including the development of recreation facilities. The commission acts in advisory capacity to Regional Parks' director related to the the maintenance, development and operation of recreation areas and facilities and general procedures to carry out the commission's purpose.
