What & Why?
The purpose for the construction project for the Lower Johnson Ridge Trail Project at Hood Mountain Regional Park & Open Space Preserve was to realign a one-third of a mile section of trail that was previously on a steep access road within the park.
The Lower Johnson Ridge Trail now provides safe and user-friendly access to stunning views on the former Johnson property that is now a part of Hood Mountain Regional Park & Open Space Preserve.
