Hudeman Slough Boat Launch Facility Improvement Project
What & Why?
Regional Parks is planning to renovate the existing boat launch facility at Hudeman Slough so that it is usable for launching small-motorized boats and kayaks. The project involves the demolition of the existing boat ramp and dock, and the reconstruction of a new ramp, dock and gangway system.
Other project components include the addition of a low freeboard, accessible (ADA) kayak launching dock, a permanent restroom building, and resurfacing of the parking area. The plans also call for an accessible (ADA) path between the parking lot, restroom facility, and the dock and ramp. See links below for the approved CEQA document, addendum and project plan.
