Kashia Reserve Coastal Trail - Project Detail
Project Detail
The project proposes a 1.1-mile long and 5-foot wide natural ground trail that meets American with Disabilities Act standards.
Project features include:
- Road entry improvements
- Parking with seven standard stalls and one van accessible stall, picnic sites, a restroom, information kiosk, benches, interpretive and trail signs
- Site restoration, fencing and gates
- One bridge replacement
- Rock armoring, puncheons and other drainage features
The trail plan is complete, and the environmental document has been released for public comment. You can view the Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration (ISMND) below or refer to State Clearinghouse (SCH) number 2021100478.
This project is being performed jointly with the Stewarts Point Ranch Coastal Trail north of Stewarts Point Store.
