What & Why?

The Bay Area Ridge Trail Extension from Highway 12 to Los Guilicos provided a critical link in the 550-mile long Bay Area Ridge Trail, creating a safe and accessible crossing of Highway 12 at Pythian Road. This trail extension has connected Hood Mountain Regional Park with the City of Santa Rosa and Annadel State Park.
