Westside Park Boat Launch Facility Improvements

What & Why?

The boat launch facilities at Westside Park are used by thousands of residents and visitors every year for access to sport fishing and other water related activities in Bodega Bay. This facility was in need of renovations to improve accessibility for persons with disabilities and to replace aging structures and supporting amenities.

The improvements included renovations to the restroom, parking lot, paths of travel, picnic sites, fish cleaning station, boat wash out, replacement of the piles, boarding floats, and concrete launch ramp panels, new lighting, and a new gangway and kayak launch ramp to enhance accessibility.

The Westside Boat Launch Facility project was completed in November 2017.
