TranslateHealdsburg Veterans Memorial Beach - Project Detail
Sonoma County Regional Parks has contracted with several firms to help us create a detailed plan for Healdsburg Veterans Memorial Beach redevelopment. Design Workshop, Inc. will work on the tasks associated with preparing a Master Plan and the related documents. Recreation Engineering and Planning will help with the initial design of the river park. David J. Powers & Associates will perform environmental review and document preparation, and WRA Environmental Consultants will provide biological and resource management planning and related services.
The scope of the work includes:
- site analysis, user surveys, and stakeholder interviews
- community engagement and outreach
- development of site alternatives and project descriptions
- development of a park Master Plan and Resource Management Plan, and
- preparation of an environmental document.
In addition, we will conduct another public survey to get input on the new vision for the river park based on a revised Draft Preferred Plan Aternative.
