September 2025: New! $80,000 Challenge Grant thanks to the generosity of Ginnie & Peter Haas, Jr.
2017 through 2025: Trail and pond restoration work was funded by an anonymous donor matching grant to the Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation, by limited one-time funds to celebrate Regional Parks’ 50th Anniversary, by a $97,000 Matching Grant from the State Parks Habitat Conservation Fund for trail renovation, and by California Conservation Corps North Bay supported project by the 2019-20 Active Transportation Program Augmentation through the State of California Natural Resources Agency ($142,714).
In the fall of 2017, the Foundation met their fundraising goal of $50,000 for the Challenge Grant.
