Timber Cove Trail Feasibility Study

What & Why?

The California Coastal Conservancy has funded a Feasibility Study for a proposed 2.5 mile Timber Cove Trail on Sonoma County's north coast. This would be a section of the California Coastal Trail, and would extend from Stillwater Cove Regional Park on the north end to Fort Ross State Historic Park on the southern end. 

What's Next?

The final Feasibility Study for the Timber Cove Trail will be released after the Local Coastal Plan has been updated and approved by the Board of Supervisors.

The next steps for implementing the Timber Cove Trail Feasibility Study are to complete the environmental process and seek funding for construction.
