Sonoma County Parks Foundation

The Sonoma County Parks Foundation raises money for park programs and services, fosters partnerships and advocates on behalf of the parks. Established in 1998, the Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

The Parks Foundation’s priority campaigns for 2024 include a $100,000 Larson Park Challenge Grant to replace the park’s aging sports courts and fields, acquisitions and improvements at Hood Mountain Park & Preserve, and new trails and habitat restoration at Taylor Mountain Park & Preserve.

Key Regional Parks programs that rely on Parks Foundation donors for support include Regional Parks summer campsVamos a Nadar swim lessons, and YES! Parks programs that bring teens to the outdoors to support physical and mental health and teach leadership skills.
