Joe Rodota Trail Bridge Replacement - Project Detail

Bridge on Joe Rodota Trail

Project Description

Regional Parks is proposing to replace deteriorated retaining walls and old wooden bridges at two locations between Petaluma Avenue and Llano Road. The bridge sizes are 15 feet long by 12 feet wide, and 12 feet long by 12 feet wide.

The wooden bridges would be replaced with steel bridges which are more resilient to fire damage. During construction two temporary bridges will be installed to allow the general public to continue using the trail while the old wooden bridges are removed and replaced with new bridges. This project is located in Supervisorial District 5 and is scheduled for completion in fall of 2025.
