Logo
We're happy to unveil our updated logo. The refreshed design features enhanced details, colors, readability and contrast while still retaining its core essence and historical legacy. These elements include:
- Enhanced landforms and colors: The interior of the logo has been redrawn in a new style – referencing the mountain, water and tree of the previous logo, but taking inspiration from Hood Mountain, the Russian River and an old-growth redwood tree – for a more authentic connection to the county’s landscapes. The landforms in the logo are more defined, and the colors are truer to those in nature – blue sky and verdant greens.
- Improved readability: The shield outline is wider, making the text easier to read at smaller sizes. The refreshed design also flips the text placement of “Regional Parks/Sonoma County” to “Sonoma County/Regional Parks” for a truer reading of our name.
- Greater contrast: The logo now has better color contrast, ensuring it meets visual accessibility standards.
- Modern and vibrant look: The updated logo has a more modern and vibrant feel, reflecting the growth of our park system.
Logos are meant to evolve over time, and we see this improvement as a natural progression for our growing park system. We are still the same Sonoma County Regional Parks that you know and love, but now with a fresh, more modern feel.
